The two graph show number of occurences of dirvers getting caught for exeeding speed limits by speed cameras on road and the pepole getting killed in accidents in the road after the addition of speed cameras on road, while the survey ask for public opinions regarding speed cameras.
Overall, number of occurences increased every year consistents during the perod, with a sharp rise on last two years. However, the number of fatilities after addition of speed cameras fluctuated between 3000 to 3500 during the time. On the survey, people opiniated were mostly negative regarding the safety enforcement by the speed cameras, as most people believed they are for mainly revenue purposes.
On the first graph, the number of incidents of exeeding speed limit shows a consitent rise starting from 200,000 events on first year, with a nearly 4 times rises on the 6th year (nearly 800,000 events). However, withing next two year, the numbers get doubled, reaching at nearly 1,600,000 occurrences.
On the second graph, consistent ups and dows are noticed in the number of fatalities, starting from slightly above 3,000 deaths on first year, and stayed withing 3,500 death during all the years.
On the survey, public opinions are clearly negative towards speed cameras, as 60% people believed speed cameras do not have effect on reducing accidents, 71% people expressed they were installed only for revenue generation, and 56% people considered numbers of speed cameras installed are too many.
