The line graphs illustrate how many men and women were employed in various sectors in the Republic of Fredonia between 1975 and 1995.
Overall, men employees predominated in all sections examined in 1975. However, an opposite pattern was seen in the numbers of women outperforming men in communications and wholesale or retail trade by 1995.
In 1975, Fredonia featured a considerable disparity in the number of males surpassing females in all given categories. The participation of male workers in the manufacturing sector was noticeably double that of their female counterparts, with respective figures being 300,000 and 600,000. Although the number of men employed in communications was virtually the same as women, the remaining job sectors were overtaken by men.
In 1995, a considerable alteration was observed in distribution of males and females in some sectors. Women showed improvement in numbers of workers over men in fields including communications and wholesale and retail trade (300,000 versus 600,000 and 700,000 versus 800,000). Meanwhile, the gap in finance and public sector (defense) was reduced, while other remaining fields remained significant dominance by male employees.
