The diagrams illustrate the number of men and women employed in various sectors in the republic of Freedonia in 1975 and 1995.
Overall, the number of male employees had surpassed females, despite that in few sectors number of women exceeded men.
The non-defense public sector had the highest numbers in both years, though these numbers remained static. In wholesale and retail sector the population of women workers increased from almost 500000 in 1975 to approximately 800000 in 1995 and overtook men. During 30 years the numbers in both groups in the manufacturing industry stayed constant. In finance and banking section, the number of female workforces leaped from just over 100000 in 1975 to just over 400000 and met men in the same level.
Additionally, in communication sector population of men did not alter and stayed at just 300000. However, number of women doubled from just under 300000 to just under 600000.
It is clear that the defense sector was the least popular among both groups. In spite of the fact that number of male staff marginally decreased, number of women rose by approximately 100000.
