In 2010, Facebook had nearly half of the overall shares and this is set to increase to nearly a three-quarters of the total in 2018. The next biggest website was twitter with nearly a fifth in 2010 and will surge to 17.39% with only around a 1% drop.
Pinterest was accounted for 16.95% of the total market share, but it is predicted to 7.25% by 2018, by approximately 9% drop. The least popular website chosen by British users will be Google Plus in 2018, at 2.90% with a drop of 8%. Despite Bebo being used by nearly a tenth of British users in 2010, it is projected to disappear completely by 2018.
