The graphs illustrate the percentage of music album types purchased by people. The graph represents 6 groups based on sex and age: male, female, 16-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45 +.
The percentage of male listeners fluctuated between pop and rock and dropped drastically in classical music and the same goes with female listeners. The number of 16-24 years old listeners gradually reduced from pop music to rock music and sharply fell in classical music. The amount of 25-34 years old listener declined steadily between pop and rock music and dramatically went down in classical music. The total of of 35-44 listeners fluctuated between pop and rock music out then decreased extremely in classical music. But in the 45+ age range, the number of listeners remained constant and sharply rose in classical music.
Overall, a downward trend in the number of listener from pop, rock and classical listener can be found in groups of male, female, 16-24, 25-34 and 35-44. But an upward trend is seen in the 45+ group.
