Overall, the purchasing amount of oil in the world increased to a peak and slightly fluctuated during the period given. Oil was consumed the most in 2005 whilst, nuclear and hydro electric were used the least. Saudi Arabia has the greatest oil reserve as compared to the other countries, with United States accounting for the least.
In 2000, the worldwide accepted price of oil was just over 30 billion dollars, decreased in the next two years, and rose to almost 60 billion dollars in the subsequent years, next four years to be precise. The amount declined gradually under 50 billion dollars in 2010. The price remained steady in the years after and fluctuated a bit but finally ended at over 50 billion dollars in 2025.
The world oil reserve varied from country to country, Saudi Arabia; 20%, United States; 2%, Russia; 5%, Venezuela; 6%, United Arab; 8%, Kuwait; 8%, Iraq; 9%, Iran; 10%, Canada; 14% and other countries; 18%.
