Overall, the library layout has undergone several changes over the past 20 years, transforming it from traditional book-centered space to a more modern and multifunctional facility. Key developments include the indroduction of self-service machine area, lecture room and the relocation of several sections to enhance accessibility and user experience.

Once inside the library from the only enterence that has remained the same, the central feature used to a tables and chairs , which has now been removed. To the right of the enterence, cafe has been added, taking the place of the previous enquiry desk. A lecture room now occupy the space where the children’s books used to be, opposite the cafe. Adult non-fiction books ,that were located between the lecture room and cafe, has given way to adult fiction books,information desk and self-service machines.

The library’s bottom left side ,which previously housed a reading room, now features a computer room. Moreover, on the top left side of the library , the room used to belong to CDs,videos, computer games, has been enlarged in size and equipped with two sofas, children’s fiction books and space for storytelling events. The area between both areas is now possesed by reference books, area of which used to belong adult fiction books.
