The figure illustrates the process of manufacturing carbonated beverages. Overall, the procedure comprises five steps, consisting of three main stages. The process starts with initial treatments of raw water and transforming the water into carbonated drinks, and concluding it with packaging them into bottles and cans for transporting to markets.
Regarding to the initial stages, the process commence with the raw water undergoes filtration system, and then softened in the water softener. Various chemicals are added into water, and pumped for obtaining purified water. After that, water is heated in the electric heaters, and then directed through cooling pipe. Afterwards, the water undergoes through carbonation process, where carbon dioxide is added for manufacturing carbonated drinks.
Concerning the remaining stages, the carbonated water is flowed into mixing tank, adding various additives such as colors, syrup, and flavour. Beverages are repeatedly filtered after mixing process to become fully carbonated drinks. Finally, the packaging process is commenced with filling drinks into bottles and cans, concluding delivering them to supermarkets.
