The maps depict the replacements of town facilities in Lakeside between 2000 and 2009.
Overall, the major changes in the Lakeside by the 2009 were, replacement of two residential areas in the south part of the maps into shopping centre and industrial complex, respectively. Old town and derelict warehouse also was rebuilt into modern office/University and a car park.
In 2000, there were three big residential areas in Lakeside located in northwest, southeast and in the middle right west. Old town and derelict warehouse was built in parallel to the of the biggest residential area, while industrial complex, school and art centre were located above the other two residential territories. And from the southwest to the northeast the was a long river, ending in a beautiful lake which is right next to the old town.
Comparatively, Lakeside has seen much changes. Instead of derelict warehouse and Old town, car park and work office and a university was reconstructed. The industrial complex, standing in the southeast park of Lakeside was expanded by adding residential area’s place to itself. Art centre that was located in the right middle of the map was exchanged into modern cinema, and the second residential place changed into a large shopping centre. Eventually, because of the harsh climate, the lake became a small pond by the 2009.
