Generally, total income of a household in 2010 was higher but this value decreased in 2013. On the other hand, total expenses of food items and clothes increased in 2013.
In 2010, total annual income of a household in a British city was 2,9000 which significantly decreased to 25,000 in 2013, meanwhile, total spendings slightly increased from 14,000 to 15,000 in 2013. In addition, meat and fish accounted for 25% of the total income in 2010 but this value decreased to 15% in 2013. Although, 22% was spent on the purchases of clothes in 2010, it fell of to 12% in 2013.
On the other hand, the expenses of fruits and vegetable experienced a significant rise from 20% to 35% in 2013. Addition to this, meat and fish costs also faced decrease of 10% from 25% to 15% in 2013. However, the total spending on other food and drinks remained same in both years.
