The line graph showcases the amount of carbon dioxide emissions from four most producing countries measured in million metric tons between year 1990 to 2020.
Overall, China and India has shown a rise in the number of emission, while Russia’s contribute decreased and USA’s stayed stable throughout the years.
India’s and China’s production of carbon dioxide both have went up but with a different tendency. While India’s number upsurged slowly, from under 1000 million metric tons in 1990 to almost 3000 in 2020, China’s rocketed in 2000, resulting in the highest ratio of all countries (over 10000 million metric tons) by the end of 2020.
Russia and USA, on the other hand, had a different trend. The amount of emissions in Russia started with just over 2000 million metric tons and has slowly declined to just under 2000 over the 30 year period. USA’s data shows that, despite a slight rise to about 6000 between 1995 and 2015, the number stayed approximately the same in both 1990 and 2020 (as around 5000 million metric tons).
