The line graph illustrates the number of people with the reasons why they migrated to the capital city of a particular country.
Overall, it is clear that the number of people for those reasons experienced growth over the 15 years period, with education experiencing the most growth.
Looking at the details, in 2000, employment was the main reason for people to move to the capital city with around 60, 000. Meanwhile, the number in family/friends and adventure were about 11, 000 each, and the number in study was around 25, 000. Over the next 10 years, both employment and study increased dramatically about 30, 000 people, while the number in adventure and family/friends rose slightly from about 11, 000 to around 22, 000 and from about 11, 000 to around 13, 000.
From the years 2010 onwards, it can be seen that the number of people moving to the capital city decreased minimally. In contrast, the number in study increased enormously. In 2015, both employment and study reasons saw the same number of people moving. Two other reasons family/friends and adventure increased steadily during the whole period
