Given graphs illustrate the weather changes throughout the year in two Australian cities. The line chart shows the average daily maximum and minimum temperatures, while the bar chart illustrates the average number of rainy days per month in Brisbane and Canberra.
Overall, it is clear that temperatures in both cities experienced almost the same trend, with dips from May to August, whereas the amount of rain was much higher than in Canberra.
The line graph represents that Brisbane had higher figures than Canberra, but both did not witness the stable figures. Maximum temperatures of both cities started just above 30C in the beginning month of the year. The following month Brisbane peaked to 30C, while Canberra had a dramatic fall to 10C in August. Brisbane experienced some fluctuations, despite that, both cities eventually turned out to be between 25C and 30C. Minimum temperatures of two cities were completely different, as Canberra had lowest indicators, showing approximately 0C in June and July.
As for rainfall, Brisbane showed unstable behavior, having the most wet days in the beginning and ending of the year, while the second city had a more consistent pattern. Brisbane showed 12-14 rainy days in the first 4 months, however after that showings plunged down to about 7 days. Canberra’s figures ranged between 10-16 days per month, and had the most rain in opposite months (June, July and August).
