The graph illustrates the museum visitor count in the UK in summer and winter of 2005.
Overall, the visiting rates in summer were notably higher than in winter. In summer, the visitor count increased significantly and subsequently decreased steadily. However, in winter, its levels were way lower. The number rose until a certain point, decreased and then plateaued.
In summer 2005, from 0 to 12 o’clock, there is an overall upward trend reaching to approximately 1500 visitors. After 12 and until 18 o’clock, visitors decreased regularly.
The number of visitors in winter, also reached its highest point at 12 o’clock with exactly 600 visitors. Hence representing four times less guests than in summer. In the same way as in summer, after 12 o’clock visitors start to lower until 3 p.m. where there are no more visitors left. Yet, in summer at the same time, the visitor count is at 800 and only reaches 0 at 18 o’clock. Highlighting substancial differences in museum visitors rates in summer and winter.
