Overall, it is clear that traveling for holidays reasons were dramatically higher and followed by family visits and in 1998 had many number of people.
In terms of holiday purposes was the significantly highest than other purposes started with 30 million in 1989 and this trend went up to a highest number with 50 million trips in the middle of the year. However, this figure declined slightly to 39 million end of the year but it even makes the highest figure.
In contrast, family visits and other purposes emerged slightly same trend from 1989 to 1996 between around 6 million and 8 billion until middle of the year, and then family visits figure increased sharply to 11 million in 2001, but other purposes were digressed dramatically to 2 million in 2001.
The lowest level of total number of trips in 1989 at 47 million, it increased yearly from 1992 to 1998. In contrast, in 2001 total trips decreased significantly to 61 millions end of the year.
