The given line graph delineates how mobile phones were purchased by three companies, including Motorola, Nokia and Sony Ericsson during the period of 10 years, strating from 1994.
In general, while the percentage of phones traded by Sony Ericsson witnessed a fluctuation, there was a downward trend in those of Motorola. Moreover, the share of phones which was saled by Nokia saw a rise, becoming the highest proportion compared to others.
In the year of 1994, Sony Ericssion saled over 10 percents of mobile phones. Then, this figure increased to about 15 percents in the middle of the period before dropped to approximately 7 percent by 2003. Finally, this proportion ended at 10 percents in 2004, becoming the less popular product during the whole period.
By contrast, the share of phones purchased by Nokia started at about 20% in 1994 and rised dramatically to more than 35% to surpass Motorola in 1998 and reach the peak in 2002. Although this figure experienced a decline at the end of the period, it still was the most favourite product. Besides, the percentage of phones saled by Motorola witnessed the oppostie trend, starting at more than 30% and dropped to just 17% by 2004.
