In the next two years, the quantity of automobiles manufactured in Australia remained fairly stable, with a slight rise to 400,000, and the figure for Thailand rose sharply to 600,000. Meanwhile, the number of cars produced in Argentina plummeted to only a half.
In 2009, the number of automobiles manufactured in Australia and Thailand continued to rise, with that of the former at 1,119,000, highest among the surveyed countries, and the latter at 999,000. The quantity of cars that were produced in Argentina, however, witnessed a dramatic decline to a low of 100,000.
