Although Costa Rica exported more than Brazil and Colombia in 2002, their exports dropped to below the level of Brazil in 2012, but lowest point achieved by Colombia in 2008.
In 2002, Brazil’s coffee was exported 12 millions kilograms and it gradually rose by approximately 8 millions in 2008 and Colombia had good changes between 2002 and 2006. It slowly climbed to 12 millions kilograms export6. Opposite to Costa Rica normally decreased and were below the level of Colombia by roughly 5 million in 2006.
Costa Rica slightly more better from 2006 to 2008 and achieved 13 million exports. Unfortunately, in the period Colombia dramatically fell by 7 million.
In 2008 Brazil’s exports fluctuation but the trends was upward and in 2012 Brazil had 25 million exports. Also Costa Rica and Colombia sharpy rose and the difference between them were 20 million and 15 million.
