The line graph depicts the amount of money(inUSdollars) that was spent by different nations such as China, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia on cars between 1995 and 2005.
Overall, spending money on cars had increased significantly in all four nations from 1995 to 2005. The highest amount of money was spent by China during all years, while the minimum was noticed for Indonesia.
In 1995, the maximum number of cars was purchased by China, which accounted for 70 millions, followed by Vietnam with approximately 55 millions. Although China and Vietnam expenditure had increased continuously till 1999, the former (90 millions) superseded the latter (60 millions). Between 1999 and 2003, both countries had shown an opposite trend with just above 80 and 70 millions, orderly. After that, the money spent by China and Vietnam on cars surged again, hovering around 95 and 75 millions.
Moving further, Thailand and Indonesia were spending 50 and 30 millions during 1995, which began to increase till 1997 and recorded around 57 and 38 millions. It decreased for Thailand with 50 millions in 1999 and started increasing till 2005 with just above 60 millions, while Indonesia’s expenditure on cars remained approximately constant with 40 millions from 1997 to 2001, which increased drastically from 2001 onwards and was observed around 60 millions in 2005.
