The line graph illustrates rates of overweight in percentage amount from the year 1980 as well as in present time and prediction for the future of nine particular countries.
Overall, it is evident from the line graph that the highest rate of overweight was in the USA in the year 1980 and in future it will continue to rise whereas Koreans are forecasted to contribute less in the overweight rates in 2030.
To commence with, in 1980 the USA was the only country which had around 45% of overweight people after a short decline in the next decade, the rates continue to rise gradually and it is assumed to reach at nearly 75% by the year 2030. Likewise, after 1990 Austria contributed nearly 40% and remained unchanged until 2010 after which the percentage fluctuated for next decade and predicted to rise and remain steady with 45%. On top of that, Spain started contributing in mid 1990 and after gradual decline until 2010 it continued rising gradually and assumed to reach approximately 55%.
Moreover, Australia and France’s contribution started after late 1990 with nearly 30 and 35% at the beginning, respectively. Consequently, after a little drop in the next decade the rates followed an upward pattern and are predicted to reach at approximately 65%. Similarly, after ups and downs until 2010 the rates of France’s is assumed to be close to 45%. Furthermore, in 1990 England was close to 45% and followed an upward pattern after little rise and fall until 2020 and assumed to reach nearly two thirds in the next decade. In addition to this, Canada and Korea started from 2010 with the rate of nearly 50% and 25% respectively, where rates for Canada rose gradually and predicted to reach nearly 55% in future. However, the rates for Korea showed an inclination until 2020 and are assumed to rise dramatically at a score of nearly 33% in 2030.
