It can be seen that the temperatures in both Paris and Boston increased rapidly before peaking and then rapidly declining, whereas the temperatures in Melbourne decreased gradually before reaching a low and then increasing again.
Looking at the details, the temperature in Boston started at below 5 degrees in January and peaked at about 33 degrees in August. It then fell rapidly to a low of 5 in December. Paris also showed an increase with temperatures starting at around 7 degrees before levelling off between July and and August at just under 25 degrees. The temperature then fell considerably, reaching a low of 10 degrees by the end of the year. Melbourne showed an opposite trend with temperatures starting at 26 degrees, falling to about 16 in July, and climbing back up to 26 degrees in December.
