the recycling rate in France decreased, reaching just about 30% by 2013, before slightly rising to around 40% in 2015.
In contrast, the UK showed a substantial growth in recycling rate from 35% in 2005 to 40% in 2009. The upward trend continued, peaking at nearly 60% in 2015. Germany also saw a noticeable rise, starting from 20% in 2005 and steadily increasing to surpass the France in 2009. By 2015, Germany’s recycling rate had reached just over 55%, making it become the second-highest among the three countries.
