The figure illustrates the count of bees detected in beehives from May to August over 25 years.

Overall, the figure for June was the highest each year, while that for August recorded the lowest values. Moreover, the numbers in the second half of the period were higher than those in the first half.

In 2000, the number of bees in May was at 11000 and this number peaked at 12000 in June before dropping to almost 4000 in August. Over the next 14 years, the quantities of bees in May, June and August retained their original values, even though all of them went through noticeable fluctuations. By contrast, the figure for July declined by almost 3000 bees during the same period.

Between 2014 and 2016, all figures increased by nearly 8000 bees, while that for August didn’t see much rise, merely increasing by 3000 bees. In the upcoming 6 years, all numbers remained at these values, with minor variations. However, after 2022, the number of bees declined in all months. Indeed, in the final year, by the end of the summer, there were no bees detected in the beehives.
