The line graph gives information about the number of international tourists visiting three countries (France, Spain and Japan) over the 30 year period (from 1990 to 2020).
Overall, it can be noticed that France was the most popular destination among visitors both in 1990 and 2020. Also, it can be distinguished that, while in France and Spain the number of tourists was increasing over the given period, in Japan this indicator decreased.
A more detailed look at the graph reveals that the amount of overseas visitors almost doubled, from approximately 45 million in 1990 to nearly 85 million in 2020. Concerning Spain, it can be seen that there was even more significant growth (from 30 million to about 75 million at the end of the period). It can be seen that, at the beginning there had been a stable growth until 2000, when there was a sharp increase in the amount of visitors. Since then there has been a more rapid rise.
As for Japan, it is noticeable that the number of tourists had been rising at first, and reached its peak of 42 million in 2000. Then this indicator started to drop, and by the end of the period only 34 million people visited Japan.
