After which it fell gradually until the year 2008 and then continued to remain unchanged. Conversely, the number of assaults fluctuated between 2,000 and 2,500 for four years, commencing from 2003 until 2007 after which it surpassed the number of armed robberies in 2007 with approximately 2,200 and then continued to climb gradually over the consecutive years, peaking in 2012.

Regarding homicides, they fluctuated with notable peaks in the years 2005 and 2010, with just below 1,000 and above 500, respectively.
