The line graph gives information about the proportion of individuals in different age groups in a city who participated in music concerts from 2010 to 2015.
It is clear that all age groups showed upward trends, except for the 55-64 age bracket. Additionally, there was a significant growth in the percentage of people aged 25 to 44, the opposite in that of the 55-64 age group.
At the beginning of the period, 52% of people who fall into the 16 to 24 age demographic, while both the 25-44 age group and the 45-54 age group made up 40%. The period between 2010 and 2015 saw a dramatic increase in the figure for people in early adulthood and peaked at 70% in 2015. Similarly, the percentage of middle-aged people also rose slightly and reached a peak of 47% at the end of the period. In terms of individuals who belong to the 16 to 24 age group, there was a fluctuation from 40% to 52% throughout the period.
Standing at about 25% in 2010, the rate of the 55-64 age bracket was significantly higher than that of older age groups (at 10%). The proportion of people who fall into the 55 to 65 age group reached a peak at 30% from 2011 to 2013, before dramatically dropping to 20% in 2015. By contrast, the figure for older people jumped suddenly at 20% in 2011 after decreasing to 12%, and came back to 20% in 2015
