The given line graph below gives information about the percentage of travelers to Scotland who visited four various locations in Edinburgh city such as: aquarium, castle, zoo and festival.
As can be seen from the image, the castle and the zoo have gained more in popularity over the period shown. Whereas, the trend for aquarium and festival have illustrated contrasting decrease from 1980s to 2010s.
According to the line graph, the proportion of visitors who visited to castle was about 25% in 1980, compared to 20% who visited to aquarium. Over the following 5 years, there was a gradual increase in the percentage of the aquarium to approximately 35%, although the percentage of the castle rose slightly since 1985 before plunging to just above 40% in 1995. Besides that, the aquarium witnessed a dramatic decline by 15% ( from 35% to 20%) and then dipped substantially.
Since 1980, the zoo experienced a fluctuation and went up to 20% 30 years later. On the other hand, the proportion of festival went down mildly to about 25% in 1995 and then moved upward tediously, which can be observed over the period shown
