In the next 2 years in 2006, the number of consumption slightly rose to 49% then fell to 42% in 2008 before it climbed to 52% in 2010. Consumption in Brazil remained stable at 35% over 4 years between 2000 and 2004. It slightly increased in 2006 and experienced a notable dropped to 30%, following a rise back to 25% in 2010. The percentage of consumers in the USA declined considerably from 32% in 2000 to 28% in 2002. Meanwhile the number of banana consumera in UK fluctuated from 21% in 2000. Then it went up about 4% to 25% in 2004 before remained surged back to 21% in 2006, and slightly went up to 23% in 2008 but remained steady at the same percentage in 2010.
