Overall, Ryeslip had the highest number of books borrowed in June but experienced a steady decline, while Sutton Wood saw a dramatic increase by September. Fiction was by far the most borrowed type of book, making up nearly half of all borrowed materials.
In June, Ryeslip recorded the highest borrowing number, with about 300 books, followed by Sutton Wood (around 250). West Eaton and Church Mount started at much lower figures, about 50 and 100 respectively. While Ryeslip’s borrowing numbers gradually decreased to about 180 by September, Sutton Wood dropped sharply to around 70 in August before surging to 300 in september. Meanwhile, West Eaton and Church Mount slowed a steady rise, reaching approximately 130 and 160 respectively by the end of the period.
According to the pie chart, fiction books were the most poppular, accounting for 43% of total borrowing. Science and biography books were equally popular, each comprising 14%. History books made up 19%, while self-help books were the least borrowed, at only 10%
