Overall, it is evident that Blue Mountain Park remained the most popular and attracted a significant number of visitors. Meanwhile, the other two parks’ visitor numbers fluctuated during the period.
In 2010, Blue Mountains Parks’ visitors numbered approximately 3.5 million. This number steadily grew and reached 4 million in 2012. The number of this park continuously increased and reached its peak at around 4.5 million in 2015. After that, the number of visitors dramatically fell and reached under 3 million in 2018.
In contrast, in 2010, Kakadu Park and Uluru Park visitors were nearly half a million. The number of visitors to Kakadu parks increased and reached 1 million in 2015. However, during that time, the number of visitors to Uluru Parks slightly declined and reached its lowest at just under half a million. Interestingly, in 2015, both Blue Mountain and Kakadu Parks reached their highest number of visitors; conversely, Uluru reached its lowest number. From 2015 to the end of the period, the number of tourists to Kakadu parks slightly declined and remained at approximately 0.8 million. On the other hand, the number of Uluru park’s tourists increased and reached its highest at 1.2 million in 2017, after that the number decreased and remained 1 million rest of the period.
