The line graph compares the prices of monthly contract of four types of cellular companies – Domo, Lex, Sim Tx, and Alpha – in a particular country in Europe between January to September in 2012. Units are measured in euros.
Overall, the prices of all types of bread in question increased, albeit at varying rates, with the exception of Sim Tx which fluctuated considerably and finished at the lowest price than others. Furthermore, Domo remained the most expensive provider for most of the period, while Alpha started as the cheapest but experienced a dramatic rise towards the end.
Focusing on upward trends , the prices of Domo stood at approximately 15 euros per month, compared to around 12 euros for Lex and Alpha was the cheapest at just 5 euros. Alpha fluctuated early on but rose sharply from 4 euros in June to 25 euros in September, becoming the most expensive provider by the end. Domo’s prices increased gradually to 20 euros in May and remained stable in June, before peaking at about 25 euros in July. After that, the price decreased slightly to roughly 23 euros in September. Lex showed moderate fluctuations, falling to 10 euros in February before steadily rising to around 18 euros by September.
However, Sim Tx bucked the trend. Starting at around 8 euros in January, the price of this type of provider followed a rapid climb, reaching a peak of approximately 14 euros in June. Nevertheless, there was an unexpected decline to around 10 euros in July, before further decreasing to approximately 7 euros in the final month
