The data illustrates the number of bananas imported to four different states between 1996 and 2004. It is clear that there are some noticeable shifts that occur between the years.

Overall, it appears that USA is the most steady between the four countries. However, Japan and Germany have fluctuated significantly over the years. For France it was very much stable until it snapped between the years 1998 to 2000 but it returned back to being steady again.

Japan has faced a major shift between of 1996 and 1999. Compared to the other countries it was the highest reaching country. its highest point was in the year 1998 with being 3 USD dollars per kg.It began to fall eventually, and in 2003 it reached it lowest point with only 1.5 USD dollars per kg.Moreover, Germany was also undoubtedly a fluctuating country. In the year 1996, it started with 1.5 USD dollars per kg.However, in the year 1998 it reached its highest point ever with being just above 2.5 USD per kg.It also started to drop and it reached 1.75 USD approximately in the year 2004.

Although these two states faced major swings, France didn’t face a lot of changes. It most fluctuating moments was between 1998 and 2000. It only decrease by 0.5 USD dollars per kg but then it bacame almost steady through out the other years.Furthermore, USA had the lowest banana intake and it was pretty much unshakable. therefore ; it approximately stayed at 1 USD dollars per kg all round the years.
