The line chart illustrates the number of immigrants to 3 particular countries which are USA, Canada, and Australia from the year of 1991 until 2001.
Overall, Australia received 1st place as the country with the most immigrants rate in 1991-1992 but plummeted dramatically by the following year. However, USA shows a different result, the rate was unnoticeable at first but rocketed consistently. Moreover, Canada started as the country with the fewest immigrants but then placed 2nd by the end of 2001.
To begin with, in 1991-1992, Australia was incredibly popular for most people. Proven by the graph demonstrating that just over 2500 immigrants chose to stay in Australia. The gap between it and USA followed by Canada reached more than 1500 people. Furthermore, during 1994-1995, Canada reached it’s peak and took over the popularity and managed to outstand Australia with approximately more than 1500 immigrants, while USA as follow.
The next year, 1996, USA still increased steadily even touched above 2000 immigrants, but Canada declined to only about 1200 immigrants. In contrast, Australia didn’t have any progress at all and stuck at 500 immigrants until 2001. By the end of 2001, USA succeeded in achieving more than 2500 immigrants. Compared to Canada and Australia, the difference was undeniable, which was over than 1000.
