The number of people who used cellular phone stood at around 6 thousand people in 1998. Over the following 10 years, this figure increased significantly to approximately 65 thousand people and became the highest figure compared to the other four. Meanwhile, the figure for fixed broadband and mobile broadband showed that nobody used both from 1998 to 2002. Thereafter, there was a difference between the two figures, the mobile broadband usage remained at its original point, while the fixed broadband went up slightly to about 1 thousand people. By 2008, the number of people using fixed broadband increased gradually to nearly 5 thousand people, was still higher than mobile broadband users. In addition, a small go up was witnessed in the number of users of mobile broadband, reaching around 4 thousand people in 2008.
Turning to the landline service usage, this figure experienced a slight increase from approximately 15 thousand people to nearly 17 thousand people during the period. In contrast, the figure for the internet service rose gradually to around 9 thousand people in 2004 before increasing rapidly to about 19 thousand people at the end of the period.
