Meanwhile, the number of cellular phone services started at around 5 per 100 individuals, followed by a significant increase to approximately 65 in 2008. By 1998, the figure for internet services was at about 5 per 100 inhabitants, with a subsequent slight rise to just over 20 over the 10-year period.
As for the remaining services, the number of fixed and mobile broadband was first introduced in 2002, after that the former experienced a slight increase to nearly 5 per 100 users, and the latter also saw a similar trend, but to less extent.
