Overall, among four sports categories, only the number of tennis players rose throughout the period given which exceeded that of Rugby from 1995 onwards to become the most favorable actitity. By contrast, Badminton and Basketball participants were consistently the least.
Commencing with two prioritized sports, from a peak of around 24 players in the first year, Rugby participants decreased remarkably to 200 people in 1995, when also recorded a similar figure of those enjoy Tennis, climbing sharply from 150 in 1985. From 1995 onwards, the number of Tennis players increased gradually and finished the period at a high of approximately 220 people. By contrast, the figure for those playing Rugby mirrored its previous trajectory, plummeting to a low of exactly 50 members.
Turning to remaining physical activities, the number of Basketball enthusiasts witnessed mild fluctuations throughout the years, with its partipipation numbers both starting and ending at around 75 people in the first and last year. Finally, after a negligible decrease to the smallest number of Badminton sportperson to just below 50 players in 1990, this sport showed a steady figure of 50 in the following years and equalled that of Rugby lovers in the end.
