The lines below illustrate the trend in percentage, which shows product export of Australia with four countries: Japan, America, China, and India, with the colors blue, orange, grey, and yellow, respectively.
Overall, as we can see, there are two increasing trends with China and India, while Japan and the US show a decrease in export with Australia.
In the graph, the export of Australia with Japan decreased at a constant rate, whereas that with the US decreased with fluctuation. At first, in 1990, Japan started with a percentage of approximately 26, which is the greatest export from Australia among the four countries; then it decreased to about 17%. However, America, starting with almost 10%, in 2000, could save the percentage of export with Australia after a fluctuation, but at the end it decreased by roughly 5% in 2012.
However, we can see that Australian export with China rose steadily: in 2000, 5%; in 2005, almost 10%; in 2010, 25%; and in 2012, 28%, starting with 3%. Another increasing trend is export with India, which was constant at the first decade with only 2 or 1 percent, reaching its highest point at approximately 7%. Although, in 2012, export with India shows a downward trend with 5%, generally, it increased.
