The line chart illustrates the reasons people gave to move to the capital city of a specific country from 2000 to 2015. Overall, the numbers increased over the years, and despite occasional decreases, there was an increase compared to the beginning.
According to the graph, the main reason for relocation was employment for almost every year. In 2015, employment and study met at approximately 30,000 and reached the same value. In 2000, nearly 60,000 people moved because of employment. However, at that time the study was not even 30.000.
Then 85,000 people came in 2005 due to employment after just over 20,000 people moved away in 2010. Nevertheless, by 2015, employment was down slightly to just shy of 90,000, s0 it increased by about 30,000 between 2000 and 2015. From about 25,000 in 2000 to about 90,000 in 2015, study increased dramatically every five years, which means that it more than doubled from the beginning to the end.
The last two reasons for people to relocate to the cities of a country were for their family or friends or for adventures. However, these two reasons account for relatively low, or almost negligible, number of people compared to the two previously aforementioned ones. There were just around 10.000. The figure for family friends was moderately higher than the adventure in 2015, at Just above 20,000 and nearly 15,000 respectively.
