Overall, the total number of passengers went to this location increased significantly over time, resulting in a massive leap in the number of travellers visited this destination.
The number of individuals who went to Blue Mountain National Park from around 150000 to 170000 in the first three years. After experiencing a sharp rise to almost 200000 in 2008, it peaked slightly at 210000. Then this figure dropped dramatically to nearly 180000. This downturn depended on many reasons such as disasters or economic slowdown.

Especially, the number of passengers travelled to this park grown rapidly to roughly 250000 and became the most successful year in the industry of national park tourism
