Overall, car theft even in the beginning of the period was in the highest position and experienced a significant increase in the middle of the period. House burgling and street robbery the approximately in the same position in the beginning but then the former grew,the letter remained the same.

Taking upwards trend first, car theft was at 0.2 million higher than house burgling in 1970. Furthermore, they rose by 0.2 points more till 1990. However, house burgling started to decrease and remained almost the same amount of money as at the beginning. At the same time car theft experience a flactuation with significant increase during 5 years and then falling down in the end.

In contrast, street robbery was the lowest kind of crime in the UK and remained the same from 1970 to 1995. Having said that after 1995 it also started to follow upward trend as well.
