Slightly fewer went to the museum in that year and the Zoo and National gallery welcomed about 300000 visitors each, however the Indigenous Art Center attracted hardly twenty thousand tourist in 1996, it then enjoyed a huge rise in popularity over the next 10 years, peaking almost 400000 visitant in 2004 and reaching a similar figure in 2016 during that year, also the National Gallery skyrocated and reached around a million visitors.
Meanwhile, over the period shown, Aquarium attandance plunged by about 400000, going from the most to the listed visited site. The Zoo’s figure droped substainally as well, though less dramatically, while the museum saw little fluctuation from around 450000 annual visitors.
