According to the chart, there was a steady increase in both steel production and employment after January. While steel production decreased to 4,000 tonnes again, the number of workers peaked at 2,000. Four months later, the production remained stable but then decreased slightly by the end of June, while the number of workers fluctuated.
Although both figures showed an upward trend in January, they both experienced a dramatic decline after August. The number of steelworkers rose in December, while production continued to fall sharply to its lowest point.
