The graph presents the way the manufacture and need for steel changed throughout four months in the United Kingdom in 2010. Generally, in January, April, and August, the amount of steel produced was higher than the actual demand for it. However, in December, the situation transformed astonishingly, which means that the actual requirement for the product started to increase and the production minimized.
As illustrated, from April to the beginning of August, steel fabrication was relatively steady. It was equal to approximately 4000 million tonnes, though the demand varied from less than 2000 to almost 3000 million tonnes.
In contrast to April, the amount of steel manufactured in August abruptly lowered from 4000 to nearly 3000 million, and right after that unexpectedly increased to as good as 5000 million tonnes. By December, the fabrication of the product changed rapidly, and the amount of steel produced, as well as the actual demand for it, quickly decreased. The amount fabricated fell from almost 5000 to 2000, and the need from 2500 to close to 0. Nevertheless, in December, the manufacture of steel continued to diminish, though the need for it suddenly rose from nearly 0 to 2000 million tonnes.
