The consumption of lamb per person in a single week was 150 grams in 1979 and then rapidly decreased, reaching 70 grams. While the consumption of chicken by the European nation showed an upward trend and continued throughout the period between 1979 and 2004, starting from 150 grams and reaching a peak of more than 260 grams.
Lastly, the consumption of beef used to be 220 grams per individual, while it showed some fluctuation and then gradually ended with a downward trend throughout the period.
