Overall, the town has been transformed from a majorly residential area to a town that offers a variety of facilities and industrial set ups

In the year 1990, the west side of the town was mainly dominated by residential accomodations. Wheras in the present, many house have been replaced with tall buildings and supermarkets. Moreover, the area which was previously occupied by greenery, is now utilized for housing.

In the other side of town, many tress and houses have been demolished for the construction of modern facilities like airports and factories. Besides that, more homes have been constructed next to the hospital and the railway has been extended from the east side to all the way to the west of the town. Furthermore, ferries along the coastline have begun to frequent the town, over the past years
