The map illustrates information about two possible locations for a new school in Canterbury.
Overall, the two sites are called S1 and S2, and they are in different parts of the town.
At present, the downtown is in the middle, housing around it, and in the north there is a university. There are main roads going through the town. The first possible site, S1, is located to the east, near the countryside and main roads. The second possible site, S2, is located to the south in the town centre, with no traffic zone.
In comparison, S1 is to the countryside and might be better for students who live outside the city. It is also near a road to Sturry, a town with a population of 7,000 people. On the other hand, S2 is in the middle of Canterbury,so it is easy to reach for students from housing. However, near a road to Chartham, a town has a population less than Sturry (4,500), and it is in no traffic zone, which may be difficult for cars.
