The map illustrates information about two possible places a new supermarket can be constructed in the town of Garlsdon, which has an approximate population of 65,000. One site is on the Northwest side of the town; the other is situated inside the Town Centre.
Overall, the Town Centre is between the residential area, almost next to the industry on the southern side of the map. It can be accessed by three different roads; one is 12 km to Hindon, another is 16 km to Brandson, and the last is almost twice the distance to Hindon, to Crandson. Additionally, a railway track passes through it.
It is evident from the map that the town has countryside on its outer edge, where a suitable place for the supermarket can also be seen; although, it could only be accessed via one road or railway. Conversely, another suitable place for the supermarket is thought to be inside the town centre, which is easily accessible to all surrounding populations, using any mode of transport.
