Overall, the city of Nelson has transitioned from a primarily simple town, where located old and not many facilities, into a varied city, provided amidity for residents. Although, certain buildings, such as university, city centre and port have been remained untouched, much of the city has been developed and modified.
Notably, on the second map more buildings have been added, such as, hall of residence, new train station, new shopping centre and tramvine have been located around the university. New covered marked restaurant, bars and clubs of the south of city. Additionally, there new shop instead of the old one. In the other words, much of the town has been replaced by leisure facilities.
Furthermore, certain other parts of the city have undergone significant development. The bike rental scheme has been added and the road has been maid for pedestrian only.
