The illustrations reveal changes that occurred in the township of Ryemouth from 1995 up to now. Overall, there is a new infrastructure for housing and reconstruction has been done. Moreover, it is noticeable that most of agricultural land and fish farms have disappeared.
Many changes occurred in the area. In the northwest, the residential area was expanded with many houses and a new road was appeared on the left side of the map in the present. Meanwhile, the shop was turned into a restaurant. Furthermore, the farmland and the forest park lie in the northeast, which became a golf and tennis area.
On the southeast, the hotel and the cafe remained in the present, however, the car park was erected to fill the empty space near the hotel. In addition, the fish market was replaced with apartments, similar to the shop. In contrast, the fishing port disappeared to create an open larger space in the south of the maps.
