The flow chart illustrates the process by which paper is produced and recycled.
We can see that almost all steps in the process do not require much human labor but they entail specialized machinery. It is also apparent that there are 10 distinct stages involved in this linear process, commencing with felling the trees and ending with pulping.
Looking at the diagram in more detail, at the initial phase of the process, juniper trees are felled before their bark is removed with the help of a drum. Following this, wood is chipped using a machine known as a chipper. After being pulped using a refiner, pulp is pressed. Once the pulp has been pressed, it is ready for the rolling into sheets of paper. Next, newspapers are printed. In the subsequent step, the used newspapers are collected, and they go through a specialized process where the ink is removed. Finally, the collected newspapers undergo pulping.
